| Oral mucosal disorders are first frequently encountered by the practicing dentist. These mucosal or perioral lesions may represent oral manifestations of many systemic diseases or infections. This article ist giving an overview of commonly occurring oral infectious mucosal conditions such as candidosis, herpes virus infection, and herpangina. Special attention is given to the possible causes and their treatment. | ||
